About the Artist:

My name is Faith Helene, I live in Utah and went to school at Dixie State University in St. George, UT. There, I discovered my love for pottery and I developed the skills to be able to open this business on my own right out of college.
I started with clay back in 1st grade when my teacher would bring some in for us and whatever we made he would fire in a kiln and bring back. Throughout elementary, I would participate in Reflections and would always enter into the 3-D category with clay sculptures or even a pottery piece I painted once.
In Jr. High, I took a ceramics class and absolutely fell in love with the idea that I could make something that I can use all the time. I painted a few slip cast mugs and made a couple slab boxes.
When I got into High School, I began taking ceramics a bit more seriously. I knew by my Jr. year that I was going to go to college for Ceramics and make it my career. In 2017, I officially started Faith Helene Ceramics and began posting on an instagram account I made. In 2019, my senior year, I was chosen to be the Visual Arts Sterling Scholar for my school. I was the first 3-D artist Sterling Scholar in almost 10 years.
After high school, I moved to St. George and attend school at Dixie State University. I am a ceramics major and have taken a pottery class, sometimes two, every semester for 2 years. I absolutely love it and I'm excited to see where it will take me further in the future.
